Terre Haute International Airport's designation as an Airport Development Zone benefits eligible companies interested in locating or expanding at Terre Haute International Airport.  Economic development incentives available for qualified companies and employees include:

- Property tax credit for inventory held within the designated area;
Gross income tax exemption from any increase in gross income derived from sources within the Zone;
Individual income tax deduction for the lesser of half of the individual's adjusted gross income made from a Zone business or $7,500;
State tax credit for a qualified investment within the Zone;
State tax credit for increased employment expenditures equal to the lesser of 10% multiplied by the increased wages or $1,500 multiplied by the number of qualified employees;
Enterprise zone interest credit for loans made to businesses for improvement of property in the Zone;
Neighborhood assistance tax credit
